Oh yes. This is a great place to have a mid stop from the Seattle to Portland trip. Sandwiches, salads, drinks are done right. Tried the fried green beans...Great. giving it a 5 star for food & fun place.
I am from Olathe, and have been over there a couple times for Karaoke on thursday nights from 7-10, both times I was greeted with smiles from the waitresses, the food was hot and very Good, I did not know anyone but the people there were very friendly, The KJ keeps a great line up on everyone and Is friendly as well, I will be back !!!
Great food, great prices! Service is hit and miss, but mostly pretty good. Horse betting booth, if you're into that.
Posted a review a year ago. Happy to report we go in regularly again. The cooks they have now are top notch and food is now back to a high standard. Service is great too. All the bartenders watch out for each other and no patron has to wait for 'their' server as another will step in. Also want to make your order right and happily do what they need to do to correct any errors. Happy to see they made a strong come back.
Passed this place a couple times on our travels, decided to give it a try. Due to the shortages of supplies, they were out of some food products. All in all it was a nice place. The food we had was really good. We started with the bucket if wings, crispy and tasty. Came with fries that were awesome. With had a fish basket and I had a chicken sandwich. Both were very good. The beer was cold and tasty.
My favorite neighborhood Watering Hole... yummy prime rib on the weekends. Great Taco Tuesday, best Steak Night in town. I have not found a better muddled lime drink anywhere. The servers care about what they serve you.l, the cook is talented and the entertainment is entertaining.
This was my first time in a pub, so I might be a little subjective on my review. Personally, I think that Bub's is a very friendly place, and an excellent choice for locals to grab a drink with friends. It's clientele are definitely a bit older and seemed more conservative, but they certainly weren't racists or anything as some other reviews have insinuated. They were very friendly and goofy, and the bartender was very helpful for a young first timer just trying to figure out what he enjoys. Out-of-towners may have more luck in another joint, since it seems that Bub's is the kind of place you go on a regular basis and build friendships at rather than the kind you drop into for a drink while you're on the road, but they're certainly welcome to try it if they're looking for a friendly joint with small town charm.
